Welcome to the new EBSCO!

The EBSCOhost interface will have a new look and feel beginning January 7, 2025. The updated interface will provide access to the same content as EBSCOhost Classic and will include features such as enhanced search and filtering options, personalized dashboards, accessibility improvements, modern result lists, and greater citing and sharing options. To learn more, see EBSCO’s New EBSCOhost Interface Quick Start Guide. Any items saved to My Custom or Shared folders in EBSCOhost Classic will not migrate to the new interface in January 2025 and your My Custom folders will be temporarily unavailable. You will need to move or copy any content saved in My Custom or Shared folders into your My Folder prior to January 7, 2025, in order for that content to migrate to the new interface automatically.

What to Expect

  • All of the EBSCOhost databases will transition to the new interface on January 7, 2025.
  • Access to EBSCOhost databases in the Classic interface will be available until January 7, 2025
  • If you already have a MyEBSCO account, you will use the same login credentials you used to log into EBSCOhost Classic. You do not have to have a MyEBSCO account to use EBSCOhost databases, but creating a MyEBSCO account will allow you to make the most of the interface’s new personalization features. For instructions on creating a MyEBSCO account, see How to Create and Manage a MyEBSCO Account.
  • If you have saved items to your MyEBSCO account Folders in EBSCOhost Classic, please be aware that some items will migrate to the Saved area of your Dashboard in new interface automatically, but other items will not. Please see Content Saved in EBSCOhost Classic Folders for more information.
  • EBSCO is not expecting any interruptions in access to EBSCOhost databases before, during, or after the transition. If you do experience problems, please contact us.
